Netflix Selects Perfect Star for Bon Clay in One Piece Third Season
The Secret Organization is geared up to make a major impact in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, although the major clash won’t unfold until the next season, and a beloved, popular member has now been chosen.
Netflix announced recently that the talented performer will appear in the One Piece cast for the third season and will play Mr. 2. The role possesses the power to change into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve laid a hand on with their main hand. Escola, who is non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will play a version of that role reinterpreted as non-binary identifying, as opposed to as a drag queen, in the live-action show, unlike the source material and anime.
The new cast member joins multiple fresh additions who will portray the organization to the screen, including chief Sir Crocodile, played by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and a familiar face, who will appear as the lineup as the ruler of the fictional land.
Even though Bon Clay is a major member of Baroque Works, the character will be introduced in One Piece the upcoming installment. Given the second season set to cover the Little Garden arc, this signals a significant shift in the timing of the character’s debut, one that could suggest further changes to the plot development.
Their mix of precise humor and profound feeling makes them a ideal selection for the character. In addition to their latest vocal work in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and multiple awards for writing and starring in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, emphasizing the range they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s most celebrated characters.
The platform’s adapted One Piece series is scheduled to come back for its second season on the tenth of March, 2026.
